The Omni X story started with a chance meeting in Singapore between Rei Tham, founder of Omni Consultancy (Malaysia), Patricia Marks, founder and CEO of sba Worldwide, and Rob Cao, founder of Dynamiq Group. The three entrepreneurs quickly realised that not only did they share common values and a vision of how do do business, but also shared a passion for supporting, empowering and inspiring businesses and startups and thriving communities.
And so Omni X was borne with a mission to share expert business knowledge and insights curated worldwide to empower startups and fledgling businesses with outstanding business intelligence, robust resiliance maximising opportunities for successuful funding and investment.
A business and social change thought leader with a significant executive portfolio of leaderships roles and experience across multiple sectors and industries; Patricia’s journey began with the development of a start-up cosmetics business into a global brand. She has since been instrumental in developing and leading pioneering projects within the hospitality, agriculture, education, and business sectors.
In 2010, Patricia founded SBA CIC which, under her leadership as CEO has supported the growth and development of over 4,300 businesses; helped over 1,500 entrepreneurs start their enterprise journey; empowering businesses, communities and economies. She has secured over £10million worth of public sector contracts for business support creating jobs, opportunities and driving down unemployment and poverty.
Most importantly, Patricia has inspired, empowered and enabled thousands of individuals to achieve more, better and pay it forward.
Patricia’s passion is “people success”. Her work and has helped develop thriving communities across the world working with partners in Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia.
Rei Tham
An investment advisor of outstanding global expertise and reputation, Rei’s passion for empowering start-ups and entrepreneurs to succeed in their fundraising efforts is underpinned by his background in teaching, persuasion and extensive experience working with prominent investors worldwide.
He brings a unique blend of innovative expertise and real-world insights to the table.
Having advised on over $10 million of of investments from retail clients and closed multi-level decision making corporate investments. He has worked with venture capitalists, private equity firms and family offices who are always searching for value investment opportunities. Rei has developed an intrinsic insight into the investment and funding landscape.
Rei is a believer in intention and impact, from how we communicate to the actions we take. He has amassed incredible experience in start-up fundraising through working with companies such as K2Global, a Silicon Valley based Private Equity Firm who raised funds for UnicornCompanies like Uber, Palantir, Airbnb, Epic Games, Calm, and Impossible Foods. This includes the real secrets to pitching successfully to investors and start-up selection process.
Rob Cao
Rob’s journey began in finance with Europe’s leading corporate workwear provider working with 90% of the UK’s healthcare trusts.
It was a step change in career path where he established his reputation working with and driving growth for companies worldwide through business development strategies including sales and marketing, bid management and development, mergers and acquisitions.
Rob founded Dynamiq Group, a multi -award winning media, marketing, and communications agency in 2009 which has since achieved over £1 billion in business ‘wins’/growth and led over 200 successful contract bids/tenders worth over £450 million for clients supporting over a dozen company sales and acquisitions. Dynamiq has worked with clients including NHS and BBC. He has since founded ‘The Media Clinic’ for Charities and Not for Profits, and Elev8te.
Rob has also been commissioned by local government organisations to develop quality, environmental and strategic plans which have delivered savings of, on average, over £375 million per annum without leading to a single loss of job.
